My mother was a beautiful knitter, but as she is not with me anymore I thought I should buy a kit and start a project for myself. I finished the blanket in under two weeks sitting on the couch with a bad chest infection (I felt I was still being productive) watching the blanket grown. The wool was so soft in my hands, and only one or two mistakes. I am thrilled how the blanket turned out and have started another blanket which could turn into a gift for a girlfriends special birthday.

I took up knitting after decades of not picking up a needle. The Baby Essential Blanket kit was the perfect project to get me back into the swing of knitting. I am going to become a grandma again and wanted something special for the baby. This kit has the best feeling yarn, is easy to work and the instructions make it super easy.
