FREE Pattern: Eco Wash Cloth

These are such handy little projects—and useful too! The textured pattern knits up quickly in Quince & Co Whimbrel, a worsted-weight organic cotton. One 100g hank will make two cloths, using approximately 35g for each.

Yarn: Quince & Co Whimbrel – Worsted Organic Cotton
Needles: 4.5mm
Finished quantity: Two cloths per 100g hank
Finished size: 23 cm x 23 cm

Pattern

Cast on 41 stitches.

Top border

Knit 5 rows.

Textured pattern

Row 1: K3, place marker, knit to last 3 sts, place marker, K3.
Row 2: K3, slip marker, purl to marker, slip marker, K3.
Row 3: K3, slip marker, *K1, P1; repeat from * to 1 stitch before marker, K1, slip marker, K3.
Row 4: K3, slip marker, purl to marker, slip marker, K3.

Repeat Rows 1–4 twelve times in total.

Bottom border

Knit 5 rows.

Cast off and weave in the ends.
