The Little Anker’s Jersey knitting kit combines PetiteKnit’s much-loved ribbed yoke design with soft Unravelled Oi Merino, for a simple wardrobe staple from babyhood through childhood.

Designed by Mette of PetiteKnit, the jersey is worked from the top down in the round. The yoke grows through sections of rib with increases, followed by raglan shaping and a smooth stocking stitch body.

About the yarn

Unravelled Oi is 100% non-superwash Merino wool in 8ply (DK), with 112m per 50g ball. Its soft feel and clear stitch definition bring out the ribbed yoke.

Knitting level and time

Intermediate. A lovely project for knitters ready to practise knitting in the round and top-down shaping. Allow approximately 7 days, depending on your chosen size and knitting pace.

Sizes

The printed pattern includes sizes from 3 months to 8 years. Select the yarn quantity group for the size you plan to knit:

  • 3–9 months
  • 9 months–3 years
  • 3–5 years
  • 5–8 years

These are kit size groups. Use the pattern’s individual sizes, measurements and gauge to choose the right fit.

  • 3–6 × 50g balls of Unravelled Oi Merino, according to your chosen size and colour
  • 1x printed pattern, including all sizes
  • 4x stitch markers
  • 1x leather-look handmade tag
  • 1x tapestry needle

With Needles option

  • 1x 4mm 40 cm fixed circular needle 
  • 1x 4mm 60 cm fixed circular needle

    Lovely to knit

    I am loving knitting this jersey for my 4 year old grand daughter. It’s an easy pattern after the Sukura blanket and the wool is great to knit. I love the unravelled patterns and think petite knit really work well for style and ease!
