The Maven Shrug is one that will become your go-to in your winter wardrobe. It's knitted top down, in the round with shoulder shaping that increases so that it fits snugly. Wear it two ways!!

This is actually a brilliant pattern to start on if you are keen to knit jumpers in the round as it uses similar stitch work.

About the Yarn
Baby Alpaca 14ply brushed is a beautiful yarn to work with and to wear. 
It's luxurious, soft, light and fluffy - made up of 80% Alpaca with a 20% nylon binder.

    Maven a success

    I made this in pink as a gift for my daughter. It was simple and quick. I think I'll make one for myself next. The wool is magnificent, soft and warm but light to wear.

    Soft and and warm

    This was a lovely garment to knit. First adult size knitting in many years and on circular needles! Learnt some new stitches and terminology too. I had enough wool to make the back longer than the front. My daughter IL loved it.
