A soft, relaxed sweater for slow weekends

The Lazy Sunday Sweater combines airy Spritz with fluffy Suri Silk for a soft, lightweight knit with a gentle halo. An easy layer to reach for on quiet mornings, cool evenings and days when comfort comes first.

Knitted in the round from the top down, the design features raglan shaping, German short rows and i-cord finishing. Hold one strand of Spritz together with one strand of Suri Silk throughout.

Intermediate. Techniques include knitting in the round, German short rows, raglan increases and i-cord finishing.

Finished measurements

The sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 15–20cm of positive ease. Measurements below are for the finished garment after blocking. Chest width is measured flat, rather than around the body.

About the yarn

Spritz: 58% baby alpaca and 42% Pima cotton. Each 100g hank contains 260m.

Suri Silk: baby Suri alpaca and mulberry silk. Each 25g ball contains 150m.

Worked together, the two yarns create a soft, airy fabric with warmth and a delicate fluffy finish.
