For centuries Japan has been a leader of innovation in the knitting world. We created this series to introduce our audience to some of Japan's amazing stitch work and pay homage to the influence their culture has had on knitting.

The Sakura pattern is a delightfully therapeutic knit, with every alternate row in simple knit/purl stitches, creating a beautiful baby blanket.

Please note: We recommend using Oi Merino yarns or similar when knitting this blanket.
