A little tee and matching beanie, made by you

Little Dimples is a baby and toddler knitting kit for a matching tee and beanie in soft Unravelled Oi Merino. Designed by Sheryl Nicholson, the tee has simple rolled edges at the neck, sleeves and hem for a relaxed finish.

A lovely handmade gift for a little one, or a small project to enjoy over a weekend. The printed pattern includes two sizes and short-sleeve and long-sleeve options, with enough yarn in the kit to knit both the tee and beanie in your chosen colour.

About the yarn

  • Unravelled Oi Merino — 100% non-superwash Merino wool
  • 8ply (DK), 50g / 112m per ball
  • Soft natural wool with clear stitch definition
  • Gently hand wash and dry flat

Knitting level

Intermediate. The tee is knitted in the round.

Knitting time

  • Tee: approximately 2 days
  • Beanie: approximately 1 hour

Times are a guide and will vary with your knitting pace.

Sizes and finished measurements

The pattern includes both sizes. Width is measured across the chest at the underarm; length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the hem.

  • 6–12 months: 30cm wide × 28.5cm long
  • 1–2 years: 32cm wide × 30cm long

Your kit includes

  • 5 × 50g balls of Unravelled Oi Merino in your chosen colour — enough for the tee and matching beanie
  • 1 printed pattern with both sizes and short-sleeve and long-sleeve options
  • 8 stitch markers
  • 1 leather-look ‘handmade’ tag
  • 1 tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Needles

Choose the With Needles option to include:

  • 1 × 4mm fixed circular needle, 60cm
  • 1 × 3.5mm fixed circular needle, 40cm
  • 1 set of four 4mm double-pointed needles (DPNs)

    Lovely dimples

    I loved this kit! Such a great colour choice and the yarn knitted up a treat. I would recommended this to anyone keen to make a little person's matching set! I made everything a bit bigger so needed to at another colour at the top of the beanie so so cute

    Little Dimples Tee

    I loved knitting the Little Dimples Tee. Love the soft Touch yarn so beautiful to knit with and such a fun pattern which adds interest.. Can’t wait to start the Beanie.
