Let the yarn bring the detail. Designed by Sheryl Nicholson for Unravelled, Maeve is a generous triangle scarf worked in easy garter stitch, with soft cream stripes and a picot edge.

The textured Spritz yarn brings little pops of colour to each section, while two-row stripes of cream alpaca add a gentle contrast. Light to wear and easy to style, Maeve can be draped over your shoulders or wrapped around your neck.

Limited edition yarn: Spritz is discontinued, so this version of Maeve is available only while our remaining yarn lasts.

About the yarn

Spritz is an alpaca and cotton yarn with an irregular, slubby texture and changing colours. Paired with soft cream alpaca for the stripes and picot bind-off, it creates a lightweight fabric with plenty of character.

Spritz: Pima cotton and baby alpaca, sport weight (5-ply), 100g / approx. 260m per hank
Unravelled Sami: 100% alpaca, DK (8-ply), 50g / 112m per ball

The colours shift as you knit, so their placement will vary from scarf to scarf.

Knitting level

Easy. Garter stitch forms the main fabric, with shaping to create the triangle, colour changes for the cream stripes and a picot bind-off to finish.
